XL EXTRALIGHT® WITH THE "DESIGN INSPIRATION" PROJECT AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2016
12 - 17 April
Milan, Design Week April 2016: the super lightness and ultra versatility of XL EXTRALIGHT® can be seen in the Materials Village at Superstudio Più - Art Garden Via Tortona 27 with a new display project that is original and stimulating, deliberately inspired by the graphic and stylistic layout of the website xlextralight.com which in this context comes to life in an instantly engaging way.
Within the XL EXTRALIGHT® space, the visitor can explore a whole range of different scenarios, exactly as though strolling through the pages of the website, discovering and experiencing at first hand the infinite variety of products made of XL EXTRALIGHT®, and all this material's possible uses.
Lightness is naturally the quality that animates this astonishing avant-garde space, conceived as an inexhaustible source of inspiration for functional design projects accessible to all, in any field of application.
The exhibition concept focuses on inspiring designers all over the world by displaying a significant selection of the objects and design products which XL EXTRALIGHT® has created so far. A few random examples? The Italian Independent eyewear line – unique in terms of comfort, lightness and lines, and in its variety of colors and styles – or the instantly recognizable MH Way backpack, or the bag that has become an icon of metropolitan style: the Fullspot O-Bag.
A tour of the XL EXTRALIGHT® universe could continue with another even lighter and more friendly accessory such as the Toy Flot by ToY Watch, or the extra-resistant i-Pad cover in an infinite range of colors, all with the XL EXTRALIGHT® trademark, or again the Gaucho wheels for Peg Perego infancy products, synonym for maximum safety and reliability.
All the many objects on show are there to be touched and thus fully appreciated for their stylistic and functional qualities... but above all for the amazing advantages of XL EXTRALIGHT®, a closed-cell foam material, developed by the creative research skills of Finproject Industries, for 50 years now (1965-2015) an international leader in the production of compounds, foam products and shoe soles.
