AIRSTONE, the tote bag designed by Luca Nichetto for XL EXTRALIGHT®, makes its international debut at 3daysofdesign 2026 in Copenhagen. Crafted from SUSTAINABLE+, at least 51% post-industrial recycled waste, certified to the Global Recycled Standard, it transforms extreme lightness into the visual language of mass. Available at i-Points across Copenhagen’s eight Design Districts and featured in the Design Walks, AIRSTONE becomes a sculptural companion throughout the festival.

XL EXTRALIGHT® is an ingredient technology born in high-performance footwear. With AIRSTONE, it enters new territory: a tote bag that exploits its extreme lightness to evoke the opposite: mass, density, and weight, shaped by a process inspired by hand-carved stone, where material and perception collide.

Camper® has joined forces with XL EXTRALIGHT® to debut with Roku shoes at 3daysofdesign. Designed around a modular system with a removable sole, the shoe can be easily disassembled, repaired, and fully reused at the end of its life cycle.  Made with SUSTAINABLE+ materials – like the AIRSTONE bags – the Roku sole creates a natural link between the two products, underscoring XL EXTRALIGHT®’s design approach and its heritage in footwear.

Into the City

At 3daysofdesign 2026, AIRSTONE moves beyond the showroom. Available at i-Points across Copenhagen’s eight Design Districts and featured in the official Design Walks, the bag travels with visitors as they explore the city, becoming part of the festival’s rhythm.
