The shoe is made with Sustainable + soles and upper in recycled material
Inspired by nature and pursuing a truly sustainable approach, XL EXTRALIGHT®, ingredient brand of the Finproject Group, presents the XIRCULAR sneaker concept at Lineapelle 2020, a shoe that combines high technology, strong design and respect for the environment.
The sole of the sneaker concept is made of XL EXTRALIGHT® Sustainable +, a newly developed product which represents for Finproject a real declaration of commitment to the environment. This material retains all the extraordinary characteristics typical of XL EXTRALIGHT®, but is made with an exclusive highly engineered process of recovery and mixing of by-products deriving from the production waste of the factories of the Marche company.
The 51% of material that makes up the formula comes from the re-use of by-products deriving from our entire production cycle. The use of XL EXTRALIGHT® Sustainable + therefore allows a concrete saving of mineral resources and avoids the transfer to landfill of production residues of a large industrial group, thus preventing them from becoming to all effects of the waste to be disposed of.
The XIRCULAR upper is also made of recycled material, to complete a project that demonstrates Finproject’s desire to make a contribution to environmental protection, directing the production system towards a model of circular economy and sustainable growth.
